To administer the government’s Local Restrictions Support Grant Scheme (Closed – from 2 December) and Christmas Support Payment Scheme to assist businesses affected by Covid-19 in local and national lockdowns.

RESOLVED: The Leader agrees that

(i)           the Local Restrictions Support Grant Scheme (Closed) scheme, attached at Appendix A to the report be approved;

(ii)          the Christmas Support Scheme attached at Appendix B to the report be approved; and

(iii)        delegated authority be given to the Head of Operational Services to administer the schemes and that the Chief Finance Officer be authorised to make technical scheme amendments.
