Committee structure
The Coronavirus has impacted the way the Council makes decisions. Prior to the passing of new regulations by the Government, some decisions were taken using urgency procedures by the Leader of the Council and Senior Officers. The regulations made under the Coronavirus Act 2020 are now in effect until May 2021 and as such, Selby District Council is now in a position to start to deliver remote meetings. The meetings will be Microsoft Teams, viewable online by the public via YouTube. The agendas for these meetings will be published as normal on the Council's website. Remote meeting procedure rules have been produced by the Council's Monitoring Officer and are available to view at Part 4.10 of the Council's Constitution at www.selby.gov.uk/constitution-council
